Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a seasonal Emergency Department position in California requiring a current CA RN license and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital

• Assignment is 13 weeks in length

• Shift is 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM

• Cares for emergency and trauma patient populations

• Candidates must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration

• All certifications must be valid for at least the first 30 days of the assignment

• Must submit a complete application and supporting documents for license and certification verification
Requirements

• Active CA RN license

• At least 1 year of recent emergency department experience

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or ARC

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required or accepted equivalents such as MAB, SAMA, ACPMA

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
