Your Contributions Will Include- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
- Assessing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either independently or alongside physicians (depending on your credentials)
- Providing education for patients and their families about illness prevention, wellness practices, and disease management
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in line with your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive, comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records in electronic medical documentation (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to acquire them within 90 days)
- Robust clinical expertise combined with an empathetic approach at the bedside
- Outstanding communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Competence with EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth solutions
