As a Production Manager at our soup facility, you'll be at the helm of our kitchen operations, ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality soups. Your responsibilities will include supervising production staff, ensuring adherence to the production schedule, and ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. You'll collaborate with support departments to coordinate ingredient procurement, monitor inventory levels, and optimize production processes.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, enforcing food safety protocols, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in ensuring that our soup production meets demand while upholding our commitment to excellence in flavor and quality.

The position will be based in Riverside, CA.

• Lead day-to-day soup production operations across multiple lines and shifts.
• Monitor KPIs such as throughput, yield, downtime, OEE, and labor utilization; drive improvements through data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, USDA, and other quality and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Sanitation to ensure operational readiness.
• Manage and develop a team of supervisors, leads, and hourly associates.
• Lead shift meetings, root cause investigations, and problem-solving activities (RCCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement plans.
• Maintain accurate production records, daily reports, and operational scorecards.
• Oversee employee scheduling, labor allocation, and cross-training initiatives.
• Partner with Maintenance and Engineering on equipment performance, downtime tracking, machine reliability, and capital project support.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment aligned with company values.
