Overview
Material Handler – 2nd Shift
Location:
Riverside, CA
Pay: $19.00 - $25.71 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities- Take charge of the action—load and unload freight while ensuring everything checks in accurately
- Own the details—log item numbers for unidentified materials to keep inventory on point
- Use your tech skills—leverage JDE to track inventory moves and keep daily operations running smoothly
- Keep it clean and safe—maintain a well-organized, hazard-free warehouse environment
- Stay sharp—count, sort, and organize parts so everything is where it needs to be
- Support the flow—load and unload trucks as needed to keep production moving
- Read, react, and respond—follow written orders, specs, and labels, including hazardous material warnings
- Get hands-on with inventory—assist in physical inventory counts and reconciliation
- Be a mentor—help train and guide new team members on the floor
- Handle with care—manage hazardous waste in line with regulations and company procedures
- Lead with safety—follow company safety policies and help build a safety‑first culture by supporting training for new team members
- Stay active—switch between sitting and standing; lift up to 50 lbs to keep work flowing
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred—ready to launch your career
- Comfortable using computers; navigate essential tools that keep production running smoothly
- Forklift experience is a must; manage yard organization and move materials efficiently
- Operate forklifts and straddle lifts safely; follow top safety standards
- Adhere to truck and trailer protocols across the company
- Read and apply measurements with a tape measure
- Read and interpret work orders and instructions
- Master the JDE system to keep operations flowing smoothly
- Handle tasks like roof coil and door rack change-outs with confidence
- Manage all products—from customer units to hazardous materials—with pride
- Commit to quality with a zero-defect mindset
- Stay flexible for overtime when needed
- Work independently with minimal supervision and accountability
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, TPM, and more)
- Stand for extended periods, walk, and use hands to operate tools and equipment with precision
- Clear communication in a safety-focused, team-driven environment
- Lift up to 50 pounds; bend, squat, reach overhead, and occasionally crawl in tight spaces
- Repetitive hand tasks; climb ladders or work at heights as part of the role
