Transmission Technician
Pay Range:$5,000–$10,000/month
Employment Type:Full-Time
Location:Southern California (Multiple Locations)
- Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on manual and automatic transmissions
- Remove, disassemble, repair, and reassemble transmission units
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
- Inspect and test vehicle drivability, shifting performance, and related systems
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs, timelines, and estimates
- Complete warranty and non-warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency
- 2+ years of dedicated
transmission repair experience
preferred - Advanced mechanical knowledge of transmission systems (including CVT, automatic, and dual-clutch)
- Skilled in diagnosing drivetrain, clutch, and torque converter issues
- Proficiency in electronic diagnostic equipment and transmission-specific tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and a drive for excellence
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
