Associate Attorney – Plaintiff Employment Litigation
Base Salary: $150,000–$175,000 DOE + Performance Commissions

This is not a back-office role. Associates are entrusted with meaningful work immediately—taking depositions, arguing motions, managing their own dockets, and preparing cases for trial alongside some of the most respected trial attorneys in the state.
The OpportunityThis role is designed for driven litigators who want to accelerate their development. You will gain hands-on experience from day one, with direct mentorship and exposure that many firms delay for years.
Responsibilities- Manage a docket of employment law cases from intake through trial
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings and motion practice
- Work directly with clients and contribute to case strategy
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair when applicable
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- 1–6 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred)
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated interest in trial work and professional growth
- Trial or substantial trial-preparation experience is a strong plus
- Base Salary: $150,000–$175,000 DOE
- Performance Commissions: Up to 5.5%
