Overview

Patient Services Coordinator (Finance) – The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System (RUHS) - CHC Jurupa Valley Division seeks a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in medical insurance and prior authorization processes. The ideal candidate verifies patient benefits, obtains prior authorizations for procedures or medications, and collaborates with insurance providers to secure timely and accurate approvals. Under minimal supervision, the role supports RUHS Managed Care or Care Management programs, secures authorizations, completes patient eligibility assessments, and performs other related duties as required.

The Coordinator will primarily manage referrals generated with contracted Managed Care Plans (public and private), coordinate with physicians and mid-level providers regarding patient care or IPA referrals for RUHS appointments, and obtain all necessary authorizations for patient care.
