Seven Healthcare is seeking a motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a reputable facility in Riverside, California for a travel assignment.
This assignment offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,700, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will work the day shift on a 5x8s schedule (40 hours per week) with an ASAP start date. In this role, you will perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures that support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with provider orders and department protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control measures are consistently met
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and monitor for adverse reactions as needed
• Document imaging procedures, doses, patient responses, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to ensure timely, patient-centered service
Requirements for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Appropriate nuclear medicine certification/credential (ARRT(N) or NMTCB, as required by facility)
• Active California licensure/permits as applicable
• Prior nuclear medicine experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
• BLS required
