Licensed Therapist / Mental Health Clinician – Adolescent Residential Treatment (Sign-On Bonus + Benefits)
Locations:
Riverside, CA
Pay: $75,000–$120,000 per year (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 + Relocation Assistance Available
Schedule:
Full-time, onsite, Sunday–Thursday
All positions require a Live Scan background check, including licensing, criminal, and motor vehicle reports.

Muir Wood is a leading provider of residential mental health and substance use treatment for adolescents ages 12–17. With 17 Joint Commission-accredited programs across California, we deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care in a safe, structured, and compassionate environment.
Our programs integrate individual therapy, family systems work, and accredited education, all focused on long-term recovery for teens and their families.
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Therapist / Mental Health Clinician to join our mission‑driven team. In this role, you’ll support adolescents and families through individualized, evidence‑based therapy. You’ll manage a small caseload, work closely with a collaborative clinical team, and make a real difference in young lives.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and risk assessments
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Provide weekly individual and family therapy sessions
- Facilitate group therapy (process, psycho educational, and skills‑based)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in daily and weekly meetings
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in on‑call rotation and crisis response as needed
- Active California license:
PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC - 2+ years of clinical experience with high‑acuity or co‑occurring disorders
- Experience with adolescents in residential or inpatient behavioral health preferred
- Skilled in trauma‑informed care, DBT, CBT/REBT, ACT, or Relapse Prevention
- Knowledge of ethical and legal standards, including mandated reporting
- Able to work one weekend day (Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday)
