This position will provide patient scheduling support via phone, email, text, and fax with referral source interaction on the phone.

  • This is a full-time position with benefits.

  • Hours:

    M-F 9am-6pm
  • Remote Role:
    Riverside County - Must be a Resident of California
  • Experience in a Medical Office required—PT Office is a plus

Centralized Scheduling Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Centralized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing patient scheduling through various communication channels including phone, online chat, email, text, and fax. You will serve as a key point of contact for patients and referral sources and collaborate closely with internal teams and Regional Office Coordinators to ensure a seamless scheduling experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient appointments via phone, chat, email, text, and fax.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and referral sources.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients to confirm appointments and gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Regional Office Coordinators to support scheduling needs.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to manage appointment data.
  • Working Knowledge of insurance benefits/ verifications.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare office setting.
  • Proven experience in patient scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of insurance benefits, including deductibles and co-payments.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and other scheduling software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
