Position: Senior Financial Analyst - Full Time

Responsibilities

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. The role collaborates with various stakeholders to collect, interpret and analyze statistical data to prepare comprehensive reports. Responsible for research and analyses in budgeting, financial trends, and producing forecast information as directed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Develop a focused, consistent analytical approach for understanding and auditing revenue and cost results across an integrated delivery network, including the development of financial models.

Use decision support systems and Excel to abstract information for financial analysis, including service-line reporting, proforma and retrospective analysis, forecasting/trend analysis, profitability/cost analyses, financial projections, labor productivity reporting, and departmental analysis.

Support and identify key margin improvement initiatives.

Departmental labor productivity analysis.

Participate in Month-end review processes.

Perform ad hoc analysis as directed.

Coordinate with the CFO on reporting and various projects as needed.

Assist in the preparation of the budget schedules.

Assist in the review and analysis of the accuracy of budgets by entity.

Prepare budget variance analysis on general budget issues.

Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.

Always demonstrate compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.

Possess knowledge of PC and applicable software.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Five (5) years of experience in healthcare accounting/finance across an Integrated Delivery Network (Acute, Post-Acute, Ambulatory, and/or Health Plans) strongly preferred. Knowledge of EPSi cost accounting system for all types of analysis preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: CPA or FHFMA a plus.

8:30am - 5:30pm
