Key Responsibilities Conduct independent model validations for BSA/AML models and assess their performance and limitations Write detailed validation reports and communicate findings to stakeholders and regulatory agencies Perform annual reviews and suggest enhancements to the BSA/AML validation process
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in model risk management Preferred advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Economics, Finance) 10+ years of experience in model development or validation within the financial industry 6+ years of fraud analytics experience with software such as Python, SAS, or R Experience in developing/validating Financial Crimes and Compliance models
