Project Manager Civil Engineer – Land/Site Development

Base pay range: $125,000 - $170,000 per year

Location: Riverside, CA – Hybrid opportunity with award‑winning, employee‑owned civil construction/engineering management firm. Major career growth potential.

• Leading business development efforts and pursuit planning
• Providing technical oversight and review of existing project activities
• Design experience focused on grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage and public improvements
• Managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating
• Reviewing client service needs and contracts
• Acting as client advocate while maintaining client satisfaction
• Assisting with entitlement process and permit processing for development projects and coordinating with land use consultants

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration (PE license) as a Civil Engineer in the state of California
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a project manager in civil engineering design with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design projects
• Ability to manage multi‑discipline engineering projects, clients and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts including prepare and deliver presentations; write proposals; respond to RFPs and RFQs, and project invoicing
• Prior experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding area municipalities, agencies and institutions
• Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
• Will relocate
