Division of Psychology – Tenure-Track Faculty Position

Position Summary

The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University invites applications for a full-time, 9‑month, tenure‑track position in the Division of Psychology at any rank. The primary duties include teaching 24 units for the academic year, research/scholarship, and service to the community. The position will start August 2026.

The compensation for this appointment will range from $75,000 – $95,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. • Master’s degree in psychology or a related field.
• Background in clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or professional counseling.
• Active license (e.g., marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, psychology) in the state of California.
• Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DMFT, PsyD) in marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field is preferred.

Duties include teaching in the Master of Science in Counseling Psychology program. Candidates are expected to be actively engaged in research and/or scholarship and serve with purpose and distinction within the community. A strong interest in and commitment to the integration of faith and learning is required. Preference will be given to applicants with a history of quality teaching, notable scholarship, and demonstrated relational skills.
