• Earn up to $150 – $221 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term. While pay varies based on certification, school, and the assignment, we strive to pay some of the highest rates among substitute providers.
• Paid training hours and professional development opportunities (variable by state)

Role Requirements:

• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks
• TB risk assessment or test

You’ll Stand Out If You:

• Passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
• Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• Have previous experience in special education settings
• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
