The job of Child Care Liaison, Bilingual/Biliterate is done for the purpose(s) of providing resources to site staff and providers, providing child care referrals and parenting information and/or eligibility information/enrollment in compliance with county, state and/or federal requirements; providing information on services available to children and families; conveying information regarding county office activities and procedures; and referring families to other agencies.
This position is required to communicate both orally and in writing utilizing both English and Spanish.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience working in early childhood education or related work.
REQUIRED
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate’s degree or 48 semester units of college with emphasis in early childhood education from an accredited college/university. Additional experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: Ability to obtain an RCOE bilingual certification within five months of hire (English and Spanish).
REQUIRED TESTING: Submitted applications will be screened for minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e‑mailed an invitation for testing. Testing is tentatively scheduled to take place on 7/24/2025.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be signed by the author. The signature block must include the author’s name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date. Letters without author’s signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date will not be accepted.
