As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining a positive learning experience when classroom teachers are absent. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, support student learning, and ensure continuity in instruction across grade levels. This is a part‑time, on‑call position ideal for educators seeking flexibility, experience, and the chance to contribute to a mission‑driven school community.

• Implement lesson plans and classroom activities provided by the regular teacher.
• Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior effectively to promote a safe and productive atmosphere.
• Support students’ academic and social‑emotional development.
• Collaborate with school staff and administrators to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (required)
• CBEST certification (preferred but not required)
• Experience working with students or youth programs (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Enthusiasm for working in an engaging environment
