Overview
Interim Program Manager, Title V Grant (Student Services) – Norco College
Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead the implementation of Title V grant activities under the supervision of the area administrator.
- Work with faculty to build new programs and assist with curriculum development and articulation agreements.
- Oversee the work of project staff and coordinate with academic and non-instructional departments to implement project objectives.
- Oversee the articulation agreement process with partnering institutions.
- Coordinate staff meetings, planning meetings and retreats, trainings, workshops, and curriculum development activities.
- Oversee supplemental instruction activities related to grant objectives.
- Serve as a liaison with regional efforts and advisory groups.
- Assist with development and monitoring of project budgets and oversee procurement of equipment, software, and hardware.
- Maintain record-keeping requirements to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Design, develop, and disseminate publications to promote grant goals and objectives.
- Present grant activities to faculty, staff, and administrators.
- Participate in internal and external grant evaluations and assist with annual performance reports.
- Participate in committees as requested.
- Provide supervision and direction to assigned District staff; set goals and evaluate performance in alignment with strategic plans and program reviews.
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervising manager.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field, plus two years of related experience in developing and implementing programs and services focused on student access, retention and success, including lead or supervisory experience.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with grant-funded federal and/or state programs is preferred.
- Knowledge of: curriculum development process; EDGAR and OMB A-21 regulations; budget development and reporting for grant-funded programs.
- Ability to: collaborate with stakeholders; communicate effectively; develop and present for diverse audiences; support development of certificates, degrees and articulation agreements; stay current with best practices in the field.

Conditions of EmploymentThis is a Classified Management position with twelve-month contracts. Paid vacation, 22 days annually; and paid accruable sick leave, 12 days annually. A pro-rata reduction will be made for part-time or shorter terms. District provides health and welfare benefits for employees and qualifying dependents. Work location and assignment may change. Offers contingent upon availability of funds and Board of Trustees approval.
