Job Details

• Administers or prescribes treatments and tests including pap smears, pelvic and breast exams
• Conducts thorough consultations, medical histories, and physical examinations of patients
• Diagnoses and treats gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, infections, and menopause related symptoms
• Provides prenatal care, including regular check-ups, basic ultrasonography, and screenings for pregnancies, including high risk pregnancies

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• If Family Medicine Trained, OB Fellowship Experience (preferred).
• Board eligible or board certification in Family Medicine (also considered).
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California is required
• Valid DEA and CPR certification is required
