Under the general direction of the CHASS Contracts and Grants Unit Supervisor, manage and coordinate complex fiscal budgeting and administration to ensure CHASS departments maintain integrity and internal controls. Serve the CHASS Contracts and Grants team by performing advanced budget and resource analyses, as well as conducting internal fund audits using robust analytical tools. Responsibilities include tracking and reconciling expenses for extramural and other funding sources, maintaining strong internal controls, and adapting to evolving needs for financial reports and ad hoc information for Principal Investigators, department Chairpersons, and administrative staff.

Prepare agency-specific, multi-year budgets and facilitate the submission of contract and grant proposals to various federal and non-federal agencies. Additionally, assist with training departmental staff on Contracts and Grants procedures, providing guidance to resolve issues and manage funds more effectively.

The full salary range for the Contracts & Grants Analyst 2 is $34.17 - $49.94 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
