Child Care Teacher

Overview

Step By Step Daycare, is currently seeking a passionate individual to join our teaching staff. Shifts may vary. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Week ends and major holidays off.

This individual will work closely with other staff members to facilitate the needs of the children according to age and/or ability. Duties may include:

• diapering
• feeding
• participating in age appropriate activities

All applicants and employees are required to provide their own transportation to and from the facility, and must be willing to submit to background and drug screening processes.

A high school diploma, or equivalent certification, is recommended though not required. Previous caregiver experience and/ or certifications are beneficial, though not mandatory, as on-site training is available; an ability to prepare and coordinate age-appropriate class activities, is a plus!
