Overview
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Are you seeking a flexible, incentivized Registered Nurse position? Ability to pick up day or night shifts – whatever works best for you! No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and being flexible and subject to last‑minute shift cancellations. The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first to cancel shifts.

. Shift Availability: 4, 8, or 12‑hour shifts.
Minimum
Hours:
12 hours every 90 days.
Maximum
Hours:
30 hours a week (Sun‑Sat).
Incentives: $40/hour + variable shift incentive.

Required
Education:
Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
Preferred Education: BS.
Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and/or via the compact. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience: One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent specialty‑specific bedside RN experience.
Preferred Experience: Epic experience.
Certifications:
- Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Women’s Health (L&D, NICU, M&B) – BLS
- Critical Care (CC) – BLS, ACLS
- Emergency Department (ED) – BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- Additional certifications may be required after start.
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
