Job DescriptionBeVera Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with deep knowledge of education for neglected, delinquent, or at-risk youth
, juvenile justice education
, and/or Title I, Part D to support a national technical assistance (TA) initiative. SMEs will provide thought leadership, content expertise, and strategic guidance to inform high-quality technical assistance products, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.
This role supports federally funded efforts to improve educational outcomes for youth served in correctional, institutional, or alternative settings. SMEs will contribute to the development of resources, advise on best practices and policy considerations, and participate in webinars, communities of practice, or other TA events as presenters or facilitators. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to BeVera Solutions, LLC.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise to inform the development of technical assistance resources, guidance documents, and training materials.
- Advise on best practices, policy considerations, and compliance requirements related to Title I, Part D and education programs serving neglected, delinquent, or at-risk youth.
- Contribute to webinars, virtual trainings, communities of practice, or national meetings as a presenter, facilitator, or panelist.
- Review and provide feedback on draft publications, tools, and TA products to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with federal priorities.
- Support data‑informed discussions and TA activities related to program implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with TA staff, analysts, and federal stakeholders to ensure content reflects current research, policy, and field‑based practice.
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements for successful performance under the anticipated contract.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Public Policy, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, or a related field is required. Master’s preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience working in one or more of the following areas:
1) Education for neglected or delinquent youth
2) Juvenile justice or correctional education
3) Title I, Part D policy, implementation, or oversight
4) Programs serving at‑risk youth in K–12 settings - Professional experience working with state educational agencies, local educational agencies, correctional or child welfare systems, or related education programs.
- Experience supporting technical assistance, training, research, or policy work for federally funded projects or TA centers is preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including practitioners, administrators, and policymakers.
- Experience presenting or facilitating webinars, trainings, or professional learning events.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project‑based environment and meet agreed‑upon timelines.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to meet any background or clearance requirements associated with the contract, if applicable.
- Direct experience with Title I, Part D programs at the federal, state, or local level.
