The Manager of Digital Marketing & Products is responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of all digital marketing technology and data collection for the organization. This position is responsible for fan acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation through data analysis and performance monitoring across email, website, app, SEO/SEM, SMS, and emerging digital channels. The role will lead audience segmentation and digital performance measurement for the marketing team ensuring alignment with league guidelines, brand standards, and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, robust digital marketing experience, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of sports fan behavior and digital trends.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that supports ticket sales, partnerships, merchandising, fan engagement, and brand growth.
- Manage digital marketing budgets, forecasting, tech stack, and vendor relationships.
- Oversee team website, mobile app, SMS, email, and other owned platforms to optimize for user experience, content discovery, and conversion rate.
- Own structured and recurring insights reports on fan behavior, channel performance, ticketing trends, content consumption, and KPIs including traffic, conversion, engagement, and revenue metrics, ensuring Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other measurement tools are leveraged to their full potential.
- Partner with Business Intelligence team to implement and maintain marketing-related APIs and data integrations between marketing platforms (CRM, email, app, paid media, analytics, CMS) to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
- Leverage data integrations to automate campaign flows, enable dynamic targeting, personalization, optimization and reporting across platforms.
- Drive fan acquisition, retention, and personalization through CRM, email marketing, and first-party data initiatives.
- Serve as the primary organizational lead for NFL Fan 1:1 Engagement initiative, Voice of the Fan data integration, and league mandated data privacy meetings and tasks, including leading the completion of data requests, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and Record of Processing Activities (RoPAs).
- Partner with NFL, league vendors, and internal technology teams to design and implement integrations between Club systems (CRM, ticketing, marketing platforms, app, etc.) and third-party tools that are compliant with the most up-to-date data privacy laws.
- Own the Club’s organic data collection points (e.g., Formstack, Form Assembly) to ensure compliance with data privacy legislation.
- Lead the design, deployment, and analysis of surveys, ensuring they provide an optimal fan experience through quality control, consistent branding, clear copy, thoughtful deployment, and elimination of redundant questions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, media, or consumer brands.
- Working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and data integrations as they relate to marketing platforms.
- Experience integrating tools such as CRMs, CDPs, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and paid media platforms.
- Proven success leading multi-channel digital campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong understanding of HTML coding, CRM, email marketing, paid media, SEO/SEM, analytics, website optimization, UX/UI, automations, CDPs, and analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with NFL digital guidelines, data privacy standards, and sponsorship structures.
- Data-driven strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
- Ability to work nontraditional hours including nights, weekends, and game days.
