Apprenticeship Coordinator
The Apprenticeship Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing management, compliance, and support of the college’s registered and non-registered apprenticeship programs. Serving as the central point of contact for employers, apprentices, and internal stakeholders, the coordinator ensures that apprenticeship programs are aligned with industry needs, institutional priorities, and state/federal guidelines. The role also supports the college’s pre-apprenticeship programs by establishing clear pathways from pre-apprenticeship to employment and further education.
EducationBachelor’s Degree in education, workforce development, career and technical education, business, or a related field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
ExperienceHas a minimum of two years of experience in the following areas: program coordination, workforce development, education, securing and maintaining employer partnerships, or related areas, along with a background in managing projects, grants, or community/industry initiatives. Experience working with diverse populations, including adult learners and underrepresented groups, is preferred.
KnowledgeHas knowledge of workforce development, career pathways, or employer-driven training initiatives, as well as familiarity with community college systems, higher education practices, or workforce/industry training models. Awareness of apprenticeship or work-based learning models is desirable.
SkillsHas demonstrated organizational and project management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and timelines. Effective communication and relationship-building skills with employers, students, faculty, and community partners are essential, along with the ability to analyze data, track program outcomes, and prepare reports. This is a grant funded position with a tentative end date of December 31, 2026.
- Annual base salary of $62,015 with full benefits package.
