POSITION
Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Assistant (2 positions)
REPORTS TOAssociate Dean, Borra College of Health Sciences
HOURS NEEDED PER WEEK10-15 hours/week
HOURLY RATE (OR RANGE)$15.25/hour
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT (APPROXIMATE)1/12/26-5/9/26
EXPECTATIONS FOR ALL DOMINICAN EMPLOYEESTo support the University's mission of preparing students to pursue truth, to give compassionate service, and to participate in the creation of a more just and humane world.
JOB COMPONENTS//PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Attend and assist in lectures and labs.
- Help students on an individual and group basis.
- Assist in writing and grading assignments and exams.
- Set up and update blackboard website.
- Perform other duties as requested, delegated or assigned.
- Must have taken the class with which they are assisting in, or the equivalent.
- Must have a strong knowledge of the subject matter.
- Must be comfortable with blackboard and online grade books.
- Must be able to communicate with the class via e-mail.
Must have completed at least one year as a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical student.
