Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner

This is a full-time on-site role for a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner located in River Edge, New Jersey. The Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting mental health evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing patient care, and providing medication management. Additional tasks may include patient education, clinical documentation, and ensuring best practices are followed in all aspects of care.

• Proficient in patient evaluation, clinical assessment, and treatment planning
• Expertise in medication management and patient education related to behavioral health
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey
• National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and commitment to delivering patient-centered care
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution is required
• Previous experience in behavioral health or mental health care is highly preferred
