Electro Mechanical Technician 2 - Weekend Nights - Ripon

• Hourly Rate: $35.90 to $40.03, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
• Shift Differential: $6.50/hr

• Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
• Must have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class indentifications.
• May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
• Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
• Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
• Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
• Do lay outs, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• Do repairs, install, replace and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
