Fabrication Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Our client is seeking a Fabrication Production Supervisor to lead a team in a high‑volume manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role focuses on team leadership, training, continuous improvement, and supporting fabrication operations on 2nd shift.

Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3PM–1AM (occasional Friday OT) | 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain production schedules and meet operating metrics.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues.
• Collaborate with union stewards on contract‑related matters.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
• Lead and support team members in daily production activities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders and frontline employees.
• Ensure proper training in safety, equipment operation, quality, and 5S.
• Track training progress using established tools and processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, waste reduction)

Qualifications/Must Haves:

• Ability to work 2nd shift and occasional Friday overtime.
• Proven leadership ability with a servant‑leadership mindset.
• Strong communication, coaching, and team‑building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a medium/high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, process control)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
