Mental Health Practitioner/Therapist

Salary: up to £46,178 per annum

Full Time, 40 hours per week (p/t, term time may be considered)

Location:

Ripon, North Yorkshire

• Provide therapeutic services to children and young people residing at Spring Hill School, using assessment, intervention and care planning.
• Consult and train residential and educational staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Supervise, where appropriate, other mental health practitioners, healthcare students and therapy assistants.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans and ensure continuity of care across the educational setting.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

• Qualified therapist or mental health practitioner registered with a relevant professional body.
• Experience working in CAMHS or a comparable mental health provision.
• Strong team player with excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Experience in an educational setting and with looked‑after children are beneficial.

• Full support from a multidisciplinary team.
• Regular clinical supervision and peer support.
• Developmental and research opportunities.
• Internal and external training on new initiatives.
