PE Teacher

Location: Ripon
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: January 2026

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic PE Teacher with a focus on girls’ physical education to join a secondary school in the Ripon area.

The school promotes healthy lifestyles, teamwork and confidence through a broad and inclusive PE curriculum. Staff are encouraged to deliver engaging lessons that inspire lifelong participation in sport.

Deliver Girls’ PE across KS3 and KS4.

Plan inclusive and engaging physical activities.

Encourage confidence, teamwork and wellbeing.

Ensure safe practice and safeguarding standards.

Support extracurricular and enrichment activities.

QTS with PE specialism.

Experience teaching Girls’ PE at secondary level.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Commitment to inclusive participation.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
