Water​/Wastewater Utility Worker; CDL

Overview

We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Utility Worker for assignment in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The selected candidate will perform routine servicing and corrective maintenance of water and wastewater systems.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

** This position has a pay rate of $20.98/Hr. **

** This position requires a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) **

• Performs routine servicing and corrective maintenance of water and wastewater systems
• Locates and marks underground water, wastewater and reclaimed water services by utilizing provided maps and tools
• Operate a dump truck, hydro excavator, ditch witch, etc.
• Cleans vehicles, heavy equipment, pumps, tools and other stationery and potable equipment
• Operates and maintains vehicles, equipment and tools required to load, unload, haul, and spread sand, gravel, dirt and/or waste products; digs, refills ditches and trenches
• Maintains grounds and buildings; cuts grass, weeds and brushes; trims trees and bushes; rakes grass, leaves and trash; seeds and cares for lawn and ornamental plantings
• Ability and willingness to work on-call shifts, as requested, including being fit and able to respond to call-ins in a timely manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
• Knowledge in the operations and maintenance of vehicles, heavy equipment, farm machinery and pumps is highly preferred
