Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America).

• Assists in the preparation of hot food items for all areas as indicated by menu cycles.
• Responsible for preliminary preparation of food items for next day as indicated by menu cycle.
• Ability to read production tickets.
• Assists with routine cleaning and sanitation of areas.
• Assists with serving food items as indicated by established workflow.
• Must demonstrate competency in knife skills.
• Must demonstrate competency in food service safety practices and procedures, and temperature control.
• Perform cooking, plating and completion of dishes in view of and interacting with customers.
• Assists with fruit and vegetable preparation, food portioning, and other bulk food preparation.
• Assists with preparing Grab and Go and other retail items.
• Ability to take and fill orders verbally.
• Must be proficient in utilization of flat top grill, convection oven, deep fat fryer, quick cook ovens, and char broiler.
• Must be proficient in various cooking methods including pan frying, sauté, deep frying, boiling, and baking/roasting.
• Demonstrate customer service and communication skills with guests.
• Assists with other duties as needed.

• Three to five years experience in high volume preparation and cooking of food in a hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, catering firm, government or private institution.
