Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an acute inpatient rehab hospital position requiring 1.5 years of recent experience and a NM or compact license.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute inpatient rehab hospital
- Single unit serving acute rehab patients with typical stay of about 14 days
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours (18:45–07:15)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Cerner EMR is used
- Must be able to fill in for Charge Nurse as needed
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Holiday requests must be submitted with initial availability; not all holidays can be requested off
- RTO (requested time off) only approved at time of submission, not after offer is made
- Navy blue scrubs and closed-toe shoes required
- Free parking is available
- Positive, motivated team players are valued in this environment
- Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1.5 years recent inpatient rehab RN experience within the last 2 years
- Current CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred and required if filling in as Charge Nurse
- Proof of valid state license must be provided at time of consideration
