We are a growing, family-owned custom apparel company seeking an Embroidery Specialist to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to develop a specialized technical skill.
While embroidery experience is helpful, the most important qualities are attention to detail, curiosity, and a desire to learn. We provide training, but we are looking for someone who is motivated to develop their craft and grow with the company.
What You’ll Do:As an Embroidery Specialist, you will work directly with commercial embroidery equipment to produce custom decorated apparel for customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Hooping garments and materials into embroidery frames, ensuring proper alignment and tension before production begins.
- Loading designs into embroidery machines and preparing garments for production runs.
- Operating commercial multi-head embroidery machines, monitoring stitch quality, thread breaks, and machine performance during runs.
- Making adjustments during production to ensure designs sew correctly and consistently.
- Trimming loose threads and finishing garments to ensure a clean, professional final product.
- Inspecting finished items for quality, including alignment, stitch integrity, and overall appearance.
- Maintaining organized production flow, including sorting garments, preparing orders, and packaging completed items.
- Keeping machines and workstations clean and properly maintained.
