Day in the Life

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient care and perform administrative and delegated clinical tasks supporting patients in a clinic‑based environment under the guidance of a physician or advanced practice provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire prior to direct patient care.

Preferred Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
