Overview
Duration: 12+ Months contract with possible extension
SummaryDevelops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.
Bachelor's degree and 12 years of direct experience or over 20 years of direct experience without a degree.
Software knowledge: Computerized maintenance management systems
Certifications: Certified Facility Manager would be nice to have, PPA certification (Policy Procedure Writer)
Skills & Qualifications- Building systems expertise boilers, HVACs (both JPs) Facility system/Facility support system
- Maintenance/or construction background (facility maintenance)
- Procedure writing and development
- Work Control background (in manager or planner roles)
DOE experience more beneficial; coming from private industry or nuclear reactor industry; US navy
