Position Summary
Greet and receive visitors and callers. Ascertain needs, assist with processes, and appropriately direct visitors and callers. Perform additional clerical duties as assigned. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed Responsibilities- INTAKE - Greet and receive employees, applicants and other visitors and direct/redirect them appropriately
- TELEPHONE - Answer multiple lines telephone and direct callers courteously and appropriately
- TELEPHONE - Take accurate telephone messages that include caller, date, time, nature of call and who the call is for
- INQUIRIES - Answer routine questions regarding department operations and procedures
- REQUESTS - Respond to telephone/written requests
- FORMS - Distribute forms, packets and information to employees and visitors and ensures forms are accurate and appropriate
- SCHEDULING - Schedule appointments and/or meetings for department personnel as assigned
- TYPING - Type memos and correspondence as directed by department managers
- DATA ENTRY - Perform data entry functions
- SUPPLIES - Inventory departmental forms, supplies and equipment regularly and order and restock as necessary
- PACKETS - Assemble information packets as assigned
- LOGS - Maintain computer logs and files of incoming paperwork
- REPORTS - Prepare special reports for management
- REPORTS - Create spreadsheets to display statistical data and information for reports
- AUDIT - Develop, oversee and conduct various routine and special audits, research and correct data to maintain integrity of programs
