Product Development Lead

• Lead end-to-end product development initiatives from concept, prototyping, and validation through launch
• Convert customer, sales, service, and warranty feedback into clear, actionable product requirements
• Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, priorities, and accountability
• Coordinate prototype builds, testing, design iterations, and validation activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable DOT, VIN, and emissions regulations
• Maintain oversight of product costs, BOM accuracy, and project budgets
• Collaborate with suppliers on design updates, quality improvements, and component revisions
• Maintain complete and accurate product documentation, including drawings, BOMs, manuals, and revision histories
• Support the development and refinement of product development processes and systems
• Conduct market, competitive, and technology research to inform product direction
• Partner with marketing teams to provide technical input for product specifications and launch materials
• Ensure products are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with performance and quality expectations

• Experience leading or supporting product development or engineering projects
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (experience with mobile or industrial equipment is a plus)
• Familiarity with CAD tools and engineering documentation standards
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented, structured, and process-focused mindset
