Senior Designer (Exhibitions & Experiential Environments)

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Southampton - Office-based, Monday to Friday

Disrupt Talent is recruiting on behalf of a confidential creative design and build business specialising in bespoke exhibition stands and experiential event environments for UK and international clients.

The business is known for delivering high-quality, brand-led environments that combine creativity with build practicality. They are open to considering candidates from outside the traditional exhibitions industry
, particularly those with strong spatial or experiential design backgrounds who are keen to apply their creativity in a live events setting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer who is passionate about creating engaging, innovative spatial environments and wants to help push the creative needle
.

You will lead the creative design process from concept through to client presentation, working closely with Sales, Account, and Project teams to deliver visually striking and commercially viable solutions. The role suits a confident designer who enjoys influencing creative direction while remaining hands‑on with design delivery.

• Leading creative concept development for exhibition stands and experiential environments
• Producing high-quality 2D and 3D design drawings and visual renders using Vectorworks and 3D Studio Max
• Supporting Sales and Account teams with client presentations and pitch visuals
• Incorporating client and stakeholder feedback into evolving design concepts
• Ensuring designs are aligned with brand objectives, budgets, and build feasibility
• Maintaining awareness of design, experiential, and spatial trends and introducing fresh ideas
• Collaborating closely with internal teams throughout the design and delivery lifecycle

• Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks and 3D Studio Max
• Strong understanding of spatial design principles and construction methods
• Solid commercial awareness, with an understanding of cost implications across different design and build approaches
• Confident communication and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Awareness of sustainable or environmentally conscious design practices
