Position SummaryWe are seeking a Focus Factory Manager to lead and manage daily operations within a defined production unit at our Rincon, GA facility. This individual will be responsible for driving operational performance through structured execution, leadership of production teams, and close coordination with planning, engineering, quality, and support functions.
This is a leadership role with broad responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance within the assigned focus area. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing experience, an ability to lead through influence and structure, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management- Lead the execution of daily production schedules and ensure alignment with plant goals
- Manage material flow, labor utilization, and production planning across multiple workstations or cells
- Collaborate with other functional leaders to resolve production issues and ensure smooth coordination across departments
- Directly manage production leadership and support the development of high‑performing hourly teams
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and results
- Support training, development, and performance management processes for all assigned team members
- Drive focus and results across key KPIs including Manufacturing Production Schedule (MPS), Return to Service (RTS), First Pass Yield (FPY), and revenue goals
- Implement and sustain standard work practices to ensure repeatable success
- Identify and lead improvement projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to promote operational excellence and eliminate waste
- Ensure all team members operate safely and comply with internal safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Maintain high standards for plant cleanliness, organization, and visual controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production leadership, preferably in a low‑volume, high‑mix, engineered product environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement process discipline, and drive measurable results
- Experience in unionized or highly structured production environments preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a hands‑on leadership style
