Position: Software Test Engineers (Experienced/Senior) with Security Clearance

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Test Engineers (Experienced/Senior) to support our Software organization located in Ridley Park, PA where we work on multiple Boeing programs, including V-22, H-47, Enterprise Dev Sec Ops , and others .

This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense Services (BDS) business organization. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including;
Experienced and Senior Level Software Test Engineers. The Vertical Lift Software Development team builds software solutions for the V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook, requiring strong experience with software engineering life cycles and the application of relevant methodologies and toolsets; responsibilities include software development and modeling, development and execution of test procedures, and comprehensive test reporting. Position Responsibilities:

* Designs, develops, and completes test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.

* Partners with stakeholders to review and identify software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability.

* Designs test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications.

* Sets up and configures test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments.

* Executes test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes.

* Provides test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.

* Creates, documents, and maintains test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standards.

* Develops and maintains automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

* Performs software project management functions across test and verification activities involving multifunctional teams. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
* 5+ years of experience with software development, modeling, test procedure development, test execution and test reporting

* 5+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, Ada, or Linux

* 5+ years of experience and knowledge of software engineering life cycles and application of relevant methodologies and toolsets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

* Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

* 5+ years working in Agile software development framework

* Familiar with DOORS

* Familiar with DO-178C requirements

* Familiar working with and/or developing software test methodology using MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429 standards

* Experience using and deploying automation, continuous integration, and other Dev Sec Ops  tools and techniques

* Familiar with aircraft systems, including flight control and mission systems

* Familiar with model-based software development and testing methodologies, such as auto-code and test using Simulink Travel:
