Math Tutor

Tutor Doctor New Jersey is a locally owned tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 14 years. We are currently seeking experienced High School Math Tutors who are confident teaching math through Pre-Calculus.

Our students need support in upper-level high school math, and we are looking for tutors who can clearly explain complex concepts, strengthen foundational skills, and help students build confidence.

This is a part-time, in-person tutoring role. Tutors are matched with students based on subject strength, location, and availability. Primary subject needs include:
Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Pre-Calculus.

• Provide one-on-one, in-person tutoring sessions
• Support students in mastering math concepts through Pre-Calculus
• Assist with homework, test preparation, and skill reinforcement
• Develop individualized learning strategies
• Communicate progress professionally
• Submit brief session notes after each session

• Strong proficiency in high school math through Pre-Calculus (required)
• Bachelor’s degree required (Math, Education, Engineering, or related field preferred)
• Previous Tutoring or Teaching Experience Strongly Preferred
• Ability to break down complex material in a clear, patient manner
• Reliable transportation for in-person sessions
• Dependable, responsive, and professional
