Job Summary:

To perform repair work spanning multiple trade crafts such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and refrigeration. To inspect equipment located in mechanical rooms.## Education & Experience

Required:

** High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of maintenance experience.
** Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required:
** Valid Driver's License required.

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
** Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or their structures. Knowledge of machines and tools to include uses, repair and maintenance.
** RESPONSIBILITIES
* ** Performs minor repairs to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
* Performs inspection of equipment room and other inventories.
* Repairs or replaces defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
* Inspects drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, and performs other maintenance activities.
* Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies; complies with workplace safety and environmental practices.
* Documents work performed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Completes and documents work performed in a timely manner and maintains quality standards.
* Meets safety guidelines; compliant with accrediting and licensing organizations.
