** position summary:
** responsible for oversight and management of the vip lounge; including but not limited to, admission to the lounge, food quality and presentation, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lounge area.
** primary duties and responsibilities:
*** promotes superior guest service.
* maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the spirit of tâlícn and the core values of ilani.
* monitors the entrance to the vip lounge to ensure access is tracked.
* ensures the quality of the room and reports issues.
* provides guidance and feedback on the menu in the vip lounge to the casino marketing manager.
* entertains guests in the vip lounge while building relationships in the area.
* works in collaboration with the food and beverage department to provide excellent service in the vip lounge guests and maintain the integrity of the room in regard to access.
* has the ability to extend complementary service in accordance with approved comp matrix.
* maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
* performs other duties as assigned.
** minimum qualifications:**
* ** high school diploma / ged;
** recognized equivalent of a high school diploma (red) or foreign high school diploma (fhd).
* ** one (1) year of customer service experience**.
* must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
* ** excellent communication conflict resolution skills.
*** must be able to stand during entire shift with frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
* must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
* must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
* must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
