Responsibilities
  • Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Location/work environment: In facility
  • Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab
  • Help patients get well by implementing physical therapy programs and activities, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments.
  • Address the whole patient and treat them as an individual with the goal to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.
  • Be adaptable to patient needs and comfortable with a variety of settings and tasks.
  • Collaborate with peers and, when appropriate, make referrals to ensure the patient receives necessary care.
  • Provide patient- and family-centered, high-quality, compassionate care.

Hiring Process

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.
