Job description: Salary Range: $68,640 – $76,000

The candidate will serve as a System Administrator for Unmanned Systems. Responsibilities include ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data by developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. The candidate will attend relevant training courses, workshops, and follow instructions from IT Operations Lead and Senior System Administrators.

• Implement IS security measures and procedures, report incidents to the ISSM or CISSM, AO, and coordinate responses to unauthorized disclosures.
• Promote security awareness among management and ensure security principles align with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement programs to educate system users on security policies and procedures.
• Participate in network and system design to incorporate security policies.
• Assess security events, determine impacts, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features are properly restored.
• Collaborate with IT teams on security matters and analyze information systems for organizational risk.
• Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policies and coordinate inspections, tests, and reviews.

• U.S. Citizenship due to security requirements.
• High school diploma/GED + 10 years of experience, or Associate’s degree + 4 years, or Bachelor’s degree + 2 years in an IT field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Security+ certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, DISA security tools, NIST 800-53 or JSIG controls, MSSQL.
• Professionalism, excellent communication, and ability to work independently.
• Experience with workstation design and cybersecurity frameworks supporting mission efforts.

• Experience designing servers, NAS, or network devices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Stakeholder collaboration and operational planning skills.
• Support for DOD cyber operations and mission support experience.

Expected salary: $68,640 – $76,000 per year
