Location: Ridgecrest, CA
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 (negotiable) + relocation assistance!
Our client is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to improving the lives of our patients through personalized and compassionate care. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join their dynamic team.
OverviewThe Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with various physical conditions, injuries, or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop customized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and coordination.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient history, and medical referrals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patients functional abilities and reduce pain.
- Monitor and reassess patients progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities of daily living, as well as strategies for preventing future injuries.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy techniques, equipment, and research findings, and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by state licensure boards and professional organizations, such as the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Participate in continuing education opportunities, workshops, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR certification.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
