MEICA Project Engineer

Our client, a leading UK civil engineering contractor are seeking a MEICA Project Engineer to deliver design, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEICA systems for water infrastructure projects. You will manage direct and subcontracted works, liaise with DNOs, ensure compliance with WIMES standards, NEC contracts, and oversee FAT/SAT, HAZOP/ALM, and project handover.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience with MEICA systems: pumps, valves, transformers, RMUs, LV switch gear, PLCs, MCCs, RTUs, instrumentation, and SCADA/Telemetry.

* Experience delivering projects for regulated water companies.

* Knowledge of NEC contracts, hydraulic systems, power resilience, and WIMES standards.

* Authorised Person Electrical (desirable), SMSTS, EUSR, CSCS preferred.

* Procurement and supervision of direct/subcontracted MEICA works.

* This is a temporary opportunity and will require site-based / in-person attendance for the duration of the project.

* Opportunity to work with a well-established UK contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects.

* 45 hours per week.
