Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Pay Range: $17/hr

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for both employees and customers
• Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry is a plus
